About The Nomad Couple
Matt’s Australian and I am Filipino. That’s about the only major difference between the 2 of us. We are a lot alike in everything else. We met on a magical new year’s eve through a friend who migrated to Australia a few years ago and married his best friend. The rest is history.
We are currently in a long distance relationship – all 8 months of it and going stronger each day. Despite the challenges posed by the distance, timezone, and our demanding jobs, we make every effort to try and be together.
In the last few months we’ve traveled together to Bohol, Cebu and Palawan islands in the Philippines. I also visited Matt in Sydney, and together we flew and saw the unbelievably beautiful, world-renowned sandstone formation Uluru (Ayer’s Rock) from Australia’s Northern Territory, one of the 28 finalists of the new 7 wonders of nature. This was the first destination from our couple travel bucket list which we ticked off together. Our list has so much more and to be honest, it’s getting longer each day!
We are very excited to travel the world together and share our amazing journeys with you.
This blog was created to share with you our adventures (and misadventures)! We aim to share our experience to our friends and readers, in the hopes of helping you with some information you might find helpful to you before you jet set on that next trip. If you want to share information back to us, that’s great too! We love interacting with people and our website is a great avenue to do just that.
Don’t be shy to write us back. Leave a comment on our posts or contact us.
